General#
What is Preem Team, exactly?
Preem Team are a bunch of experienced Cyberpunk ethusiasts, looking to make the best collection in Night City. With years of experience with curating collections, we want to bring the best modding experience possible to all. See the Home page for the full philosophy behind it.
Is this an official CD Projekt Red project?
No. Preem Team is a fan-made, community-run collection. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with CD Projekt Red in any way.
Which game version does the collection support?
Always check the Supported Game Version listed in the collections Changelog — it's kept in sync with the current collection release.
Is Preem Team free?
Yes. The only cost is how you install it, as a Nexus mods free member, or upgrade to a nexus premium user, to enjoy faster download times, and near one click installations.
Installation & Setup#
Do I need to know how to mod already?
No. Installation is written assuming zero prior modding experience, and is very easy to follow. If you do get stuck, we're always on hand to help in our Discord
Can I add my own mods on top of the collection?
You can, but it's not officially supported, extra mods can conflict with the collection's mods or tested configuration. If you do, add them after confirming the base collection works, one at a time, so you can identify what broke if something does.
Vortex or manual install — which is better?
Vortex is recommended for this collection, given it have over 900 mods, manually installing all of them will be a giant pain, Vortex is easier to use, and it manages the mods and conflicts automatically.
Troubleshooting#
The game crashes on launch after installing. What do I do?
Check Common Problems first — most launch crashes are covered there. If yours isn't, follow the steps on the Troubleshooting see if your issue has been covered already.
If you are crashing to desktop after doing a Clean Install (Flatline Error), simply restart your PC.
CET console won't open. Is something broken?
Usually not — it's most often a keybind conflict. See the CET setup guide for the fix.
I updated the collection and now nothing works. Help?
You likely have left-over mods from a previous revision, or you have a dirty install, we recommend you perform a Clean Install, as this fixes most issues that can occur after a collection update.
